学心理学的人也是正常人，从行为上来说，并没有什么与其他人不同的地方。你很难从知识角度去分辨别人的行为是受什么知识影响（尤其是影响人行为的主要因素是他们的动机和需要）。所以说，学心理学的人与学习其他学科的人相比，除了心理学方面的专业知识丰富些，其外貌、行为上都没有什么与众不同的地方。

大家对心理学一个大方向存在很深的误解，总以为学心理学的人能看到人的想法似的，把心理学搞得像玄学一样神奇。大家对心理学的误解有以下几面原因：

1、雾里看花。大家总是从通俗意义上去理解心理学，以为心理学就是很神奇的、灵异的或是深不可测的，所以，才有很多人胡乱去猜想心理学的内涵，其中不乏很多夸大、离奇的猜想，一传十，十传百，久而久之，都不知道传成什么样儿了！

2、媒体信息被错误理解与过分夸大。看电影吧，多是《沉默的羔羊》里那类的变态心理医生；看《犯罪心理》吧，罪犯都是心理变态的；看新闻吧，哪个哪个人杀人了，可能他有精神分裂症，哪个哪个人跳楼了，可能他有抑郁症……看吧，媒体总对一些东西进行了过度的渲染，而观众们也很是喜欢或恐惧，总之是完全关注到了，因为这些东西或是情节曲折，或是刺激有趣，或是耸人听闻，但他们哪知道，这只是看到了心理学的冰山一角，更可能是经过过度的再加工的信息，早已面目全非了。真是“好事不出门，坏事传千里”啊！

3、概念混淆。如果说：“你神经病！”大多数人认为这就等同于“心理有问题”，殊不知心理学上根本没有“神经病”这一说，而心理学里有的“神经症”、“精神病”与大众所谓的“神经病”也完全又不是一个概念；最令人囧的就是，“变态＝心理学”，特别是去查那种所谓的“XX部必看的心理学电影”，你会发现，多数都是讲一些所谓的BT做了一些BT的事情，经历了相当BT的过程，产生了一个BT的大结局，无一不符合一个字——“怪”，一些灵异片、血腥暴力片也扯进来了，有的真是一点内涵没有，弄得好像变态的东西就属于心理学的范畴，让人大跌眼镜。

4、恐惧心理。你害怕么？其实，更多时候，是人心底的恐惧在作祟。所有的人都需要隐私，需要空间，你会不会觉得一个人在你面前，可以看透你任何一个动作、眼神代表的含义，就像你穿着衣服，他却透过一层玻璃看到你赤身裸体一样，非常不舒服？！所以说，大多数人都害怕被人看穿，所以他们恐惧。但这种恐惧并不是直接表现出来的，但是会通过一些间接的表现来体现。首先就会有某些人错误理解与推测心理学，不自觉的心理学“妖魔化”也是他们潜意识里对自身安全的维护与对侵犯隐私的抨击，而这样的恐惧又是那么地容易传染，造成恐惧的泛化。
